Try out the life of a monk with us and be filled with bliss and knowledge.
Are you ready to go beyond the blinders world of 9 to 6? Are you ready to live a life full of dancing, chanting and taking transcendental food every day?
Why not come and experience what it feels like to be a monk?
This is free for all but there is a service requirement of 6 hours each day, apart from requirements of regular attendance in morning programs and meditation on chanting apart from engaging in a spirit of monk life. Being simple is being happy.
In Srimad Bhagavatam, a Vedic text, Maharaja Khatvanga advises that "one give up material attachments and surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Thus one achieves success in life. This is pure bhakti-yoga, which involves vairagya-vidya - renunciation, and knowledge".
Srila Prabhupada writes,
"No illicit sex, no intoxication, no gambling, no meat-eating. This is a renouncement. So this renouncement and knowledge can be acquired, simply this method of bhakti-yoga, what is that? Thinking of Krishna"
"Persons who, because of their serious attitude, attain the stage of enlightened devotional service achieve the complete meaning of renunciation and knowledge and attain the Vaikunthaloka in the spiritual sky simply by drinking the nectar of Krishna's topics"
"The yogis who engage in devotional service are full of knowledge and renunciation. If there is a lack of knowledge and renunciation, it is to be understood that one is not in full devotional service".
